| September...I could hardly remember the number of days we spent on singing together! The Beijing Trip is much meaningful to me! I could never forget the time I spent with my first batch of students at WYK, alma mater!
Rehearsals and practices occupied the whole October! 25. 10 Musicarama is a very important show. Please make sure you can sing! 2.11 Med Art Beethoven No.9 is very challenging. Old boys, if you read this, please come to the performance and sing! We need MASSIVE choir! WE NEED THRILLING SOUND EFFECT.
My life is suddenly injected with strong motivation, of course, this is because I have received many good phone calls! wa hahahaha...
We should be happy to be in WYK cos we have much freedom TO THINK. Many lower form students mis-interpreted and confined the word to behaviourial freedom, i.e. skip lesson, not attending practices... Where is your sense of responsibility? Or your respect for others?
I have to remind myself what to do: Schools Mus Festival applications, instrumental class teachers recruitment and class division, Old boys choir new session, Beethoven No.9, Musicarama2008, TTBB score typing, APA assignments, some weddings singing...Lesley you must be tough!

Thanks for Mr. So that I can well arranged my time at WYK and APA. I hope I can teach more composition elements in future after taking this course, especially in electronic music. Then we can fundraise for an electronic studio! wa haha
Yes why not plan for a Music Fund!? (as suggested by many past students of 60s)

WYK Homecoming Concert A very wonderful evening! A very enjoyable concert! Mr So said, 'This is the first time I knew that music is not only for obtaining first prize in a competition, but for someone to express and enjoy themselves during the music-making process!' He left after the concert, not during the intermission this time (hehe) I am much moved by him.
Thanks to Keung Sir for 'TAKING CARE' of our music boys and contacting old boys...

| Just arrived yesterday after a short delay in Paris the transit and 1.5 hour in the sky above HK... 21 days of Italian trip...I think the result of this vocal class (on me) is much better than the 2-year-ago. Maybe this is due to more practices I have made over these two years. Anyway I enjoyed much this trip but now let me return to reality.
Just a quick caption. There will be many performances in the coming September (and of cos one at the end of August)!

| finally all competitions are settled. So we have to move on our lives! Yesterday we have the 4th session of Old Boys' Choir practice. Uncle Tak called me and he came and visit us! I feel so warm. So I 've discussed with him lots about choral singing and training, really benefit lots. He will send to us many books on music from his music library soon cos he thinks he has no time to read them all! I have received many on choral conducting and choral compositions. Good. A fruitful summer (in singing and reading) in italia!

Now after introduced by Ms. Chen Yun Hung, I am reading more about some eastern european choral composers including Lajos Bardos and Veljo Tormis. Here I would like to introduce some fantastic works on YOUTUBE. I have ordered many choral scores by them from the internet of different difficulty. Now let us move on our lives as well...haha
